The Winning Strategy in Three Phases

Progress in Automate a Restaurant follows a clear arc. The best players don't do everything at once — they move through three phases in order. You can play the game on Roblox.

Phase 1: Volume Farming (Early Game)

Stay on the cheapest seed that feeds a dish you can cook and sell. Fill your beds, pull the lever to release into storage, cook, serve, collect, then rebuy the same seed and repeat. Remember cash only lands after service, not when a crop ripens — so keep the whole chain flowing rather than admiring full fields.

The goal here is a steady, boring cash flow that funds the next phase. Keep a cheap backup crop growing so your beds are never idle.

Phase 2: Recipe Quality (Mid Game)

This is the key insight: money scales with recipe quality, not plot count. A better dish multiplies the value of every harvest, so a single great recipe beats a dozen extra plots of a cheap crop.

Recipes are discovered by experimenting with ingredient combinations. Once your Phase 1 income is stable, start testing experiment pairs to find higher-value dishes, then shift your production toward whatever sells best.

Phase 3: Automation (Late Game)

With good recipes locked in, reinvest into drones — the "legal money printer." Add them in bottleneck order:

1. Harvest drone when the field outgrows hand-picking.
2. Cook drone once profitable dishes are worth batching.
3. Serve drone when cooking outpaces your walking speed.

Chain them Harvest → Cook → Serve, upgrade one before duplicating, and only add another when the current one is busy over 80% of a rush cycle.

Supporting Upgrades

• Fertilizer speeds grow cycles and raises yield. Buy it when growth is your bottleneck, when you have spare cash not needed for drones, or when an event boosts demand — but not before you have at least three crops on a regular cycle.
• Don't overspend. Never let a purchase drop your cash below one full restock, or you'll stall the loop.
• Skip early gamepasses. They exist, but buying them before you understand the free loop is a common early mistake.
